18 October - EcoPlus Announces Begins Financing Agreement for National Municipalities in SmallCapVoice Interview

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Oct. 18, 2006 (PRIMEZONE via COMTEX) -- EcoPlus, Inc. (Pink Sheets: ECPL) announced during an interview with SmallCapVoice.Com that it has inked a final agreement with Academic Capital Group, Inc. of Chicago, Illinois, a municipal lease-finance company. The program agreement will supply qualified municipalities with lease-purchase financing for acquisition of the EcoPlus patent-pending brown grease disposal technology. Academic Capital Group has strong public-side experience and its extensive sales-aid financing is expected to accelerate EcoPlus, Inc.’s equipment placements and provide additional value-added options to the customer base.

Bill Scherffius, EcoPlus Chief operating Officer, said, "With the finalizing of this agreement, a municipality can install the EcoPlus system with little to no up-front money required. In these days of constricted tax revenues, this arrangement for acquisition of an environmentally proactive technology is highly attractive to municipal, county or wastewater agency executives.”

This announcement is part of a wide-ranging interview conducted by Stuart Smith of SmallCapvoice.Com that encompassed the company’s history, the depth of its management and its execution of the business plan. The full interview can be found on SmallCapVoice.Com and going to the EcoPlus logo.

During the interview Scherffius also noted that, “The company is actively scheduling meetings with potential purchasers of our systems on both the private and public side. This demonstrates that we have solid interest in our technology and we are confident that maintaining a fast pace in marketing and branding strategy and filling the calendar with interviews with senior decision makers will position us for a strong 2007.”

ECPL has a patent-pending technology for turning restaurant-generated brown grease refuse into a high quality, alternative fuel. This process allows municipalities to eradicate environmentally unfriendly brown grease, and turn it into an income generating, environmentally friendly green fuel.
